She later enrolled in DePaul University's Adult Nurse Practioner program where completed her masters of science degree, and she has practiced for over fifteen years. She holds a national certification with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

Hisham S. Sadek, MD, PhD, has over twenty years of experience treating patients with various psychiatric disorders. Dr. Sadek specializes in addiction psychiatry, with extensive training and experience in substance abuse and dependency disorders. Dr. Sadek obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Alexandria University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt. He completed his residency at UIC as well as the Illinois State Psychiatric Institute and graduated as chief resident. In addition to running his practice, Dr. Sadek has worked as a psychiatrist for the City of Chicago Department of Public Health as well as AMITA Health Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center.
