Occupational Medicine
Treating Worker's and Personal Injury

Srinivas Ravanam, M.D.

Occupational Medicine is a cross-disciplinary area concerned with protecting the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment. As a secondary effect, Occupational Medicine may also protect co-workers, family members, employers, customers, suppliers, nearby communities, and other members of the public who are impacted by the workplace environment.

As a medical specialty, Occupational Medicine focuses on injuries and illnesses taking place in, or affected by, the workplace.

If you have been injured at work or have health concerns you believe are connected to your job (for instance, RMS – Repetitive Motion Syndrome, acquired by making the same movements over and over again for long periods of time), contact Hermosa Medical and Diagnostic Center for an evaluation and examination. Workman’s Compensation and most forms of insurance are accepted.
